Little by little, the transition from the combustion car to electric models is gaining more visibility. There are more and more car parks where you can find vehicle recharging facilities.

The recharging infrastructures are defined in the Technical Application Guide of the ITC-*BT 52 “Installations for special purposes. Infrastructure for recharging electric vehicles” which defines how this type of installation must be executed.

What are the most common problems when installing charging points?

We could highlight the following:

– Difficulty connecting the charging point with the connection point (either from the meter panel or the protection panel).

– The communities do not consider a pre-installation and the owners who want it have to carry out theirs individually.

– Little or no network connection in most car parks.

– Excessive distance between the charging point and the connection.

– Need for robust equipment due to vandalism in community spaces.

Wallbox eHome de CIRCONTROL

The CIRCONTROL Wallbox eHome model, on the market since 2018, meets the needs to charge either a plug-in or electric hybrid model, being an easy-to-use, safe and versatile device since it has multiple installation, connection and charging possibilities. load control with the incorporation of Home BeON, an intelligent sensor for single-phase installations.

Designed to be easy to install in private car parks (both indoors and outdoors as it is waterproof), this electric vehicle charger allows you to easily charge all electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles on the market.

This charger only requires an electrical cable to power the equipment with an automatic circuit breaker, a Type A differential switch and protection against permanent and transient overvoltages as stated in ITC-*BT 52 of the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation (REBT) and coming soon with the eHome Link model, it will already be compatible with scheme no. 2 of ITC-*BT-52.

Incentives and subsidies

Currently, the MOVES III program is in force in Catalonia, Incentives for efficient and sustainable mobility 202, which grants aid for the installation of recharging points. In the case of individuals, the maximum limit that can be received per file and call regarding the linked recharge will be €5,000.

The aid will be 70% for natural persons, the self-employed, communities of owners and public administrations. In municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants, this percentage will be 80%.

The beneficiary does not need to be registered. For companies, the aid varies between 30% and 60% depending on whether it is a small, medium or large company, the power of the infrastructure and the number of inhabitants of the municipality where the infrastructure is installed.

If you are interested, from PACI global we take care of the processing of the aid, as well as the installation and legalization of the recharging point.
