Today our colleagues Adrià Garcia and Iu Perramon have attended the conference “CAES as a lever for the financing of energy efficiency projects” organized by the Financing and Energy Savings Certificates (CAE) Working Groups of the Clúster del Energía Eficiente de Cataluña of which we are part.
The fundamental objectives of the day have been to publicize the CEEC financing WG, as well as to get to know the financiers first-hand. Likewise, inform and clarify mainly to the generators of CAEs (ESEs, end clients, others) in a very practical way how the CAEs can be monetized, how they can help finance other projects, when they are monetized, what counterparties exist, what guarantees and obligations they have.
