Until June 30, 2024, you have the opportunity to access aid intended for energy improvement actions in single-family homes and multi-family buildings in Catalonia, excluding Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
Here are the key details you need to know:
Deadline to apply for aid: June 30, 2024.
Subsidized works must have started after February 1, 2020.
Minimum cost of the action: €1,000.
The homes must be the usual and permanent address of the owners, usufructuary or lessees at the time of the request.
Period of execution of the works: a maximum of 12 months from the granting of the aid, ending before June 30, 2026.
The works must be legalized according to the requirements of the corresponding town hall.
What improvements are eligible for the subsidy?
Reduction of the annual energy demand for heating and cooling by at least 7%.
Reduction of non-renewable primary energy consumption by at least 30%.
The subsidy covers a wide range of actions, including the rehabilitation of the thermal envelope, the replacement of installations with more efficient ones and the fees of professionals for the drafting of projects and certifications.
Remember that actions in thermal generators that use fossil fuel will not be subsidized nor the costs associated with licenses, fees and taxes.
