PACI obtains an ARC subsidy for the reuse of electronic equipment in the renewable energy market.
The project was presented to the Waste Agency of Catalonia to promote the circular economy.
This project wants to contribute to closing the cycle of collection and recovery of electronic equipment
of the renewable energy market. Designing, conceptualizing and prototyping a new business model that includes the collection, repair and subsequent sale of solar panels through its own platform.
Applied research is based on the standardization of a rapid protocol of action and the evaluation of waste treatment, in order to value it and be able to
give them a new useful life, and/or treat the waste accordingly to obtain, through the relevant value chain, new income from the company.
The EURECAT technology center will participate in the project by developing tasks linked to the technical and life cycle validation of the electronic components or recovered panels.
PACI Global has experience in processes to improve energy efficiency in a multitude of projects in the updating and solar panels, for individuals and companies.
