The new RD 390/2021 (Basic procedure for energy efficiency certification of buildings) basically introduces some modifications in line with the European Directive 2018/844 and some demands of the energy certification sector.
Of the updates and modifications regarding RD390/2013, we highlight as important changes the fact of the obligation to certify all public administration buildings of more than 250 m2 and the validity of the certificates with a “G” rating, which will be 5 years.
