Today we have participated in the conference “Promoting the energy efficiency sector through Energy Saving Certificates” organized by CEEC, ANESE and ICAEN.
The conference was intended to boost and accelerate energy savings by presenting this new tool, which is expected to come into operation at the beginning of 2023 at full capacity.
Some of the objectives of the day were:
• Inform professionals in the sector about the importance of CAEs when it comes to monetizing the energy savings obtained by end consumers.
• Make compliance with part of the energy saving obligations of the obligated subjects more flexible.
• Achieve energy savings at the lowest cost and increase the energy efficiency market in Spain.
• Analyze the measures approved by the Spanish government and that are part of the Contingency Plan defined by the EU that facilitates the fulfillment of the European commitments derived from the conflict in Ukraine.
