This morning our colleague Carles Gutierrez participated with the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia and Eurecat-Technological Center of Catalonia in the workshop dedicated to #renewableenergies, one of the 6 strategic areas of the #CEEC , which has served to define and promote actions for its deployment in Catalonia. The session focused on 4 areas of work in the area of renewables:
1. Business development actions in the Catalan and Spanish market
2. Innovative collaborative projects for decarbonization
3. Boosting local energy communities in rural and industrial environments
4. Actions to attract young talent to the energy sector
Through their contributions, the participants have placed special emphasis on topics of marked interest to the sector, such as data management, dissemination to end users (especially in individual #self-consumption and neighborhood communities), or the need to promote talks in primary and secondary education to expand citizens’ knowledge.
