Project Description
Study for the application of an innovative “collector field” technology in football pitches, using them as thermal energy collectors, as an energy efficiency measure. The aim is to take advantage of the sun’s thermal energy absorbed by the grass of the sports fields themselves to store it and distribute it to the systems and equipment that require hot water. The proposed system is based on the distribution of collectors (pipes) underneath the turf finishes of the pitches.
